Solitaire hints and undo
A hint highlights a legal move that the game judges useful. It is not a solver and does not guarantee the best route or a win from the current position.
The short version
Undo is more valuable as a learning tool: test a move, inspect what it reveals, then compare another line. The current session keeps up to 80 undo states, but that history is not restored after the page reloads.
