One card vs three card Solitaire
Draw-one turns over every stock card in sequence, so the waste is easier to plan. Draw-three exposes every third card and changes which cards become reachable as the waste pile is played.
The short version
Velvet Solitaire currently uses draw-one only. The comparison is still useful when moving between Klondike games: draw-three usually demands more stock planning and can make the same deal much harder.
